Enva Close To Clearcircle Acquisition Valued Over €30m

Waste management group Enva is close to signing a deal to buy rival firm Clearcircle Environmental Ireland, according to the Sunday Independent.

Clearcircle was sold to management IPL Plastics (formerly One51) last year for approximately €30 million, and the Independent reports that this sale is to be for a higher sum.

A spokesman for Enva declined to comment while Clearcircle did not respond to a request for comment.

The Independent reports that the whole Clearcircle business has been put up for sale while Enva has been on the acquisition trail after it was sold to private equity firm Exponent last year.

The waste group, which was formally part of DCC's Environmental Division, recently acquired UK based Blue Sky Plastic Recycling.
