Smurfit Kappa Zedek has been recognised for its retail marketing and point-of-purchase advertising displays by winning two POPAI Awards in Düsseldorf. The POPAI awards showcase best practice in retail marketing across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
This year, there were more than 60 entries spread across all categories. The nominees were exhibited at the EuroCIS 2016 trade fair for retail technology.
Smurfit Kappa won a bronze award in the 'Beverage and Tobacco' category with a display for Campari's Skyy Vodka brand, which was optimised for safe transportation.
Earning a second bronze in the 'Beauty and Fragrance' category was a floor display for Philips' Visapure brand, on which the jury commented, "The designers at Smurfit Kappa Zedek managed to develop an outstanding design in corrugated cardboard that meets all of the relevant criteria."
