Aldi Opens New Store In Trim

Aldi has recently opened a new 'Future Store' store in Trim, Co.Meath.

The store was designed using Aldi's new 'Future Store' design and layout, which includes wider aisles and hi-spec fixtures and fittings.

The Trim store is its fifth store in Co.Meath and will create up to 20 jobs.

Sarah Owens, Manager of Aldi’s new Trim store said, "The Future Store design is much more spacious than a typical Aldi store and we are confident that our customers will find it provides a more enjoyable shopping experience."

"Aldi has grown in popularity across Ireland in recent years and we are pleased to make the quality, value and variety of our product ranges available to more people throughout Co. Meath.”

In a statement the German retailer outlined that it is currently engaged in a €100 million new store opening programme that will see 20 new stores open between 2017 and 2019 creating 400 new jobs.

Aldi is also investing €60 million in revamping and refurbishing its existing stores nationwide, introducing its 'Future Store' design and layout.
