Following Recent Irish Unveiling, Slane Whiskey Set For UK Market Launch

Brown-Forman, has announced its plans to introduce Slane Irish Whiskey to the UK market following its recent launch in Dublin last week.

Reportedly, the whiskey brand will be available from 'selected bars' in London, Bath, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow from next month.

The new whiskey brand has come to market almost two years after Brown-Forman originally announced their purchase of Slane Castle Irish Whiskey Limited.

The unique, triple casked blend of Irish whiskey will be distilled on the grounds of Slane Castle, in partnership with the Conyngham family, proprietors of the Co.Meath Estate.

The distillery is the first of its kind to be built by Brown-Forman outside of the United States.

It is set to open next month and will include a visitor experience centre, which will allow the public to see the whiskey's 'creation process' on renovated 250 year old gothic farm buildings, on the castle grounds.

Slane Irish Whiskey was co-created by Alex Conyngham and Brown-Forman master blenders Chris Morris and Steve Hughes.
