Did you know?... German retailer Edeka has announced the launch of low-carb, gluten-free organic pasta made of legumes. Edeka Biopasta is available in two variants made of red lentils or chickpeas.The red lentil pasta is characterised by an intense taste that complements meat steaks.

Did you know?... In January 2020 will see the opening of a new tiki rum bar called 'Ohana in the basement of 17 Harcourt Street in Dublin 2. Run by Doug Leddin, who previously worked at An Púcán in Galway, and general manager Will Lynch, 'Ohana will be able to accommodate up to 200 people and will feature five separate sections, including a jungle terrace and a "smugglers cove"

Did you know?... Catering firm Compass Group has warned that hundreds of jobs could be in jeopardy as a part of a programme to stem costs as the weakening economic outlook in Europe dented the catering company's volumes and margins. The catering firm could cut jobs in Britain, France and Germany, with roles in Japan and Brazil also at risk, CEO Dominic Blakemore told Reuters.
