Did You Know… That Lidl is selling locally grown cannabis in its stores in Switzerland? The sale of drugs has been legal in the country since 2011, and the German discounter is selling 1.5g and 3g bags with 1% THC as a pain relief alternative.
Did You Know… US singer Bob Dylan has launched his own line of craft whiskeys? In cooperation with Marc Bushala, Dylan has launched the ‘Heaven’s Door’ line – which includes a straight rye, a straight bourbon and a double barrel whiskey.
Did You Know… Tea is slowly making its way into the alcohol world? According to The Drinks Business Magazine, cold brew tea infused with spirits launched late last year and has already sold 10,000 bottles. The combination of gin and tea liqueurs and tea-based cocktails are becoming increasingly popular in high-end British pubs and restaurants.
Did You Know… Tesco has launched small wine bottle sizes? In a bid to appease younger consumers, as well as helping shoppers manage portions and reduce waste, there will be 37 ranges of wine introduced in the UK, including 50cl and 37.5cl bottles (approx. four and three glasses respectively).
