Did you know?... Just Eat has raised over €80,000 for long-standing charity partners Peter McVerry Trust. Ahead of World Homeless Day on which falls on the 10 October, the food ordering and delivery app introduced a ‘Cycle for Good’ initiative which saw Just Eat donate 10 cents to the national housing and homeless charity for every Just Eat dublinbikes journey taken in the capital over the past 10 weeks.

Did you know?... Belgian retailer Colruyt Group has announced plans to roll out reusable bags for fruit and vegetables across the country, beginning 9 October. The decision to roll out a reusable alternative follows a successful pilot project in 51 Bio-Planet stores.

Did you know?... A move by the United States to slap a 25% tariff on single malt Scotch whiskey will damage the industry and hurt jobs and investment in Scotland, the sector's trade association said on Thursday, as it urged restraint on all sides. According to Reuters Washington on Wednesday said it would slap 10% tariffs on European-made Airbus planes and 25% duties on a range of products including French wine, Scotch whiskies and cheese from across the continent as punishment for illegal EU aircraft subsidies.
