Did you know … Cadbury and Dunnes Stores have been named as the sponsors of Christmas FM this year? The radio station, which will play festive favourites in the run up the Christmas, will be raising money for charity Sightsavers this year. This is Cadbury’s second year to be involved in the radio station, while it is the inaugural sponsorship year for Dunnes Stores.

Did you know … Dublin pub, The Stag’s Head has been named as the 2017 Best Tourist Pub at the Irish Pub Awards? The award was sponsored by Molson Coors, as part of its ongoing programme of activities to support Irish publicans.

Did you know … Killowen Farm has launched a limited-edition Christmas Cranberry & Orange Yogurt to its range? This yoghurt is available in 500g packs and is presented in a glass jar, described as being perfect for storing in the fridge over the Christmas period.

Did you know … an audit of 432 Irish public sector organisations, undertaken by Maynooth University, showed that only 5% had specific integration policies in place? However, the study also identified some good policy and practice in the sector, including in Dublin Bus, the Prison Service and the Central Bank of Ireland.

Did you know … Top Oil has announced the winners of its recent 'Rock 'n' Roll to Vegas' marathon series competition? Three Top Oil customers won a trip for two and travelled to Las Vegas on 9th November. The winner of the online home heating order competition was Sharon Dillon from Co. Kildare. The second winner was in-store motor fuel winner, Catherine Walsh from Co. Carlow.

Did you know … Dublin City Council has announced plans to outsource management and upkeep of the Liffey boardwalk? According to Fora.ie, the city council recently issued a tender for an outside firm to clean and replace decking, seating and handrails on the boardwalk. Graeme McQueen, head of public affairs at Dublin Chamber commented to For a.ie ‘that the boardwalk in the heart of the city’s tourist centre has been a missed opportunity.’
