Did you know...? American retail giant Walmart has removed an issue of Cosmopolitan magazine from its checkout aisles, after a conservative non-profit had lobbied against the ‘hyper-sexualised’ content on the cover of a recent issue.

Did you know...? Just in time for Easter, US egg prices surged to a record high. The wholesale cost of a dozen eggs in the American Midwest has more than doubled in the five weeks through March 23 to $2.71, the highest since prices hit a record $2.77 in August 2015 due to the bird flu outbreak.

Did you know...? The British retailer Sainsbury’s is launching its own brand Tu clothing range on the Argos website from 25 April, which will include next-day home delivery and free collection from 1,100 Sainsbury’s and Argos stores across the UK.

Did you know...? The UK retailer the Co-op has revealed plans to switch all of its private-label bottled water to 50% recycled plastic. The new bottles will also be 100% recyclable and sourced in the UK, according to the Co-op.

Did you know...? UK retailer Waitrose is set to roll out rye-grass egg packaging to eight more products in its stores. It first implemented the packaging, made from 50% rye grass and 50% recycled paper, for its 'Duchy' organic range in 2015.
