Did You Know … Guinness has hosted its first Airbnb ‘Night At’ winner with an overnight stay in the Guinness Storehouse? James Morrisey of New York won the prize for a night in the Gravity bar, which was transformed with tasting bar and a private butler for James and his wife.

Did You Know … The so-called ‘selfie generation’ is driving up domestics sales, according to figures from IRI? Sales in the market are nearing £1 billion in the UK, thanks to the popularity of social media stars such as Kim Kardashian and Youtube how-to videos. IRI is a leading FMCG big data and analytics provider.

Did You Know … Dublin food hall Fallon & Byrne is planning to open a restaurant? The city centre grocer, owned by Paul Byrne and Fiona McHugh, is looking to set up the new restaurant in Rathmines, and is also planning a food hall and deli for the shopping centre there.

Did You Know … Kellogg’s has been found funding research that undermines obesity warnings? The Sunday Times established that the cereal maker funded a report attacking the UK government's advice to reduce sugar intake. Kellogg's was also shown to have funded a study that recommended breakfast cereals as a means for children to stay slimmer.

Did You Know … An American juicer company called Juicero is offering customer refunds after a Bloomberg report found its packs could be squeezed by hand? The company, which sells a $700 high-tech juicer for squeezing its custom juice packs, was embarrassed when Bloomberg found the machine was superfluous to the job.

Did You Know … The Workplace Relations Commission is speeding up employment law cases? According to the commission's annual report, its adjudication service processed 15,000 complaints concerning employee/employer lawsuits and states that 75% of them are now heard within five months.
