Did You Know... Maxol has announced the Dublin winner of its Customer Feedback programme? Tracey Hennessey was presented with €100 in fuel vouchers by Maxol regional manager, Mark Walsh, for her participation in the programme at Maxol Station Sandyford, Dundrum. The customer feedback programme is part of Maxol's TLC awards, which reward retailers for high standards and customer service.

Did You Know... Cork Chamber’s third quarterly economic trends survey of 2015 shows increases in turnover, net profit, and employee numbers for businesses around the county? It also found that 68% of businesses feel that Budget 2016 was good for business, while 91% report feeling confident for their financial future.

Did You Know... Shareholder advisory firm Manifest has claimed that Arytza’s Chief Executive, Owen Killian, is being paid an ‘excessive salary’, reports The Sunday Times? In its report, issued ahead of Arytza’s annual meeting on December 8th, the London-based firm also criticised the Irish-Swiss food company’s incentive plan and gave its remuneration policy an ‘E’ grade, its second lowest. Arytza disputes how the value of the scheme is calculated, says the paper.

Did You Know... Irwin’s Bakery based in Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland has won its first business in China, with a six-figure deal to supply a range of premium biscuits for the Chinese market through China Merchants Food? The deal will see 500,000 packs a year of Irwin’s biscuits stocked in stores across China.

Did You Know... Whitby Seafoods has opened a new £1.3 million (approximately €1.8 million) scampi processing plant at its Northern Ireland subsidiary, Kilkeel Foods in Co. Down? The expansion at the shellfish processor has created 20 jobs, with more expected as the facility becomes fully operational next year.

Did You Know... One4all has unveiled its fourteen of Ireland’s 'happiest faces’ with its new brand advertising campaign launching today, December 1st? The happiest faces from thousands of submissions were then captured by director Dave Tynan, who won the 2015 Irish Film & Television Academy Award for Best Short Film, for the One4all Christmas advert.

This year, the campaign is asking friends, families and bar staff to nominate a designated driver who deserves to be rewarded for their efforts this Christmas. One winning designated driver will be selected in each province, and will be surprised at their local participating venue by the Coca-Cola Christmas Jumper Car, filled with prizes.
