Did You Know … Wolf Blass is celebrating its 50th birthday? The Australian wine brand is offering shoppers a chance to “Chase the Cap” in a rugby-themed marketing campaign to mark the occasion. Wolf Blass is distributed by Findlater Wine & Spirit Group in Ireland.

Did You Know … The Celtic Whiskey Shop on Dawson Street, Dublin, has won the Single Outlet Retailer of the Year for Ireland award in Whisky Magazine’s Icons of Whisky (Rest of World) 2017 competition? The store will now go up against the American and Scottish regional winners for the overall icons of Whisky Global title. The Irish Whiskey Experience in Killarney was also a winner, for the Whisky Visitor Attraction of the Year (Rest of World) award.

Did You Know … Northern Irish artisan bakery New Found Joy has signed a £20k deal with Tesco? The bakery specialises in gluten-free treats and will be available in selected Tesco stores in the province.

Did You Know … a report by letting agent Knight Frank has found that retail rents on Grafton Street have risen 25% over the past year? The vacancy rate on Ireland’s premier shopping street is “essentially zero” and headline rents currently stand at €6,500 per square metre.
