Did You Know … Marmite sales soared 61% in the UK last week? The high-profile pricing conflict between Unilever and Tesco caused customers to spend an extra £335,000 on the food spread, according to The Grocer magazine.

Did You Know … Goatsbridge Trout Farm are publishing a cookbook celebrating the so-called “forgotten fish”, trout? The book, called “Fishwives – A Cookbook by Goatsbridge”, contains 77 recipes from women from diverse backgrounds and professions. It will be available from October 28 in select outlets nationwide, and all proceeds will go to the charity Hospice Africa Uganda.

Did You Know ... More than £1million worth of whisky has leaked from the Loch Lomond Distillers warehouse in Catrine, Ayrshire? 60,000 litres were lost. Most of the whisky drained into the ground, while the rest went into the local River Ayr.
