Love Irish Food Launches 2016 Brand Development Award

Love Irish Food and Exterion Media have announced the launch of the annual Love Irish Food Brand Development Awards.

The award will see one Love Irish Food member brand receive €70,000 in advertising space. An extensive out-of-home campaign will appear nationwide for two weeks and includes print production and digital animation for broadcasting on Exterion Media’s Retail digital network.

To mark the fifth year of the award, OwensDDB Advertising Agency will provide the winner with an €10,000 creative bursary.

Kieran Rumley, Executive Director, Love Irish Food said: "The awards provide smaller Irish brands with the opportunity to advertise to Irish consumers on a national level, giving them a huge opportunity to connect with their target audience and take their brand to the next level."

Last year McGargles won the Brand Development Awards 2015. Niall Phelan, Director, Rye River Brewing Company said: "The McGargles brand had its most successful year last year, and winning the Love Irish Food Brand Development Awards was a big part of that, I’d encourage all Love Irish Food members that are new to advertising to enter to be in with a chance of winning this great award."


To enter, Love Irish Food member brands must register at by close of business on Friday 10th October 2016.
