Maxol Mulhuddart Hosts Latest Children’s Cookery Workshop

Moreish in Maxol’s new M3 Mulhuddart Service is the latest café to host a children’s healthy workshop.

The workshops are held in conjunction with Kater4Kidz, which specialises in teaching children about healthy eating and food skills. The purpose of the workshops is to teach children key cookery skills using fresh healthy ingredients.

Speaking about the workshop Fergal Harrington, Group Brand Development Manager, the Maxol Group said: "This healthy initiative shows there is a high level of interest among parents for their children to learn more about cooking and food and of course it’s great fun too. Moreish ‘Fresh Food at Maxol’ brand is all about healthier alternatives and fresh, tasty ingredients – all of which are available in-store at Maxol Mace."

Mary Harte of Kater4Kidz added: “I’m thrilled to be part of this fantastic initiative with Moreish at Maxol, which really works to instill confidence in children when it comes to cooking for themselves. We want to encourage children to make the right decisions when choosing foods and to look for the healthier options.  These workshops give the children an opportunity to develop their food skills while having fun.”

The kids cookery workshops are currently taking place across a number of cafés in Maxol Stations nationwide.
