Maxol Raises €25,000 For Aware

Maxol has raised €25,000 for charity partner Aware, which provides support, education, and information for people impacted by depression, bipolar disorder and mood related conditions.

The family-owned forecourt and convenience retailer supported the charity by donating €10,000 and asking customers to top up their purchase in-store by adding 10 cent during the month of August.

"Mental health is such an important issue in Irish communities and Aware listens to the people that need it the most," said Brian Donaldson, CEO, The Maxol Group.

Education Programmes

Drew Flood, business development executive, Aware said that the money raised will go towards providing education programmes to those in need.

Maxol became a partner of Aware in 2016 and has raised over €200,00for the charity since 2017.

The charity partnership supports a range of important services delivered by Aware in the Republic of Ireland and AWARE NI in Northern Ireland.
