Maxol Reopens Skehard Road Service Station With Ninth Freshly Chopped

Irish forecourt retailer Maxol has announced that it has refurbished its service station at Skehard Road, Co. Cork, introducing a Freshly Chopped to the store.

This will be the ninth Freshly Chopped within Maxol’s network, and the Skehard Road service station reopens its doors after a €400,000 investment.

“The upgrade to the service station provides a modern and inviting store environment, which we are very proud of. The freshly made Rosa Coffee is essential to our customers, so we are delighted to be able to provide a quality cup of coffee that even the most discerning of caffeine lovers will appreciate,” said Donal Spillane, Licensee, Maxol Skehard Road.

“Freshly Chopped is also a fantastic new addition for our customers wanting a healthy, quality fast fresh meal when they are on the go, and the custom-made sandwiches from our new Maxol Deli offers an alternative healthy and wholesome choice for them.”

The newly refurbished store will see the introduction of nine jobs, and the station now includes Maxol’s new fresh ground coffee, Rosa Coffee, and a wider range of healthy food menu options from the new Maxol Deli, along with a wide range of competitively priced grocery essentials.

“We are delighted with the investment at Skehard Road, which has added a wider choice and range of quality food options to our customers in the locality,” said John Hadnett, Maxol Regional Manager.

“An investment of over €2m has been made by Maxol in four of its Cork-based service stations this year - Carrigaline, Ballincollig, Wilton and Skehard Road. This is part of our strategy to deliver a best in class range of services and customer experience across our growing network of 115 sites on the island of Ireland.”

Maxol Skehard Road also includes a maxWash car wash facility, free Wi-Fi, a wine off-license, and Pay at Pump services to save customers time when fuelling up.
