The NOffLA National Off-Licence Awards took place at the Kings Inns, Dublin, last night, with Redmond's of Ranelagh being named Off-Licence of the Year.
Other notable winners at the event included O'Donovan's Off-Licence Group, Cork, winner of the Specialist Off-Licence Group of the Year award. The Customer Service Award went to O'Donovan's, Mallow, while Number 21 Cork won the Best First Time Entrant Award.
Also honored at the event, Spirit Specialist of the Year went to Deveney's of Dundrum, Beer Specialist of the Year was presented to Martin's Off-Licence, Marino, and Wine Specialist of the Year went to Blackrock Cellar; all three of which are in Dublin.
Regionally, McHugh's Off-licence, Kilbarrack, won Dublin Off-Licence of the year, Next Door Waterford took the Munster Off-Licence of the Year award, Dicey's in Ballyshannon won the Connaught/Ulster Off-Licence of the Year, while The Wine Centre, Kilkenny won Leinster Off-Licence of the Year.
Agnieska Niemiec was named the RTC Online Trainee of the Year.
NOffLA (the National Off-Licence Association) represents independent off-licence owners in Ireland, and currently represents over 350 members nationwide.
