Teeling Whiskey Scoops Three Gongs At World Whiskey Awards

 

Teeling Whiskey won three awards at the World Whiskies Awards, which took place recently in London, according to a statement issued by the distiller today.

The Irish whiskey distiller scooped an award for the World’s Best Irish Single Grain and World’s Best Irish Single Malt across three different age classes at the highly prestigious Awards

The World Whiskies Awards is an annual celebration of the best in whiskies from across the globe. Over 300 whiskies were in the running for the title of ‘World’s Best’ in each category.

Speaking on the award wins, Jack Teeling, founder of Teeling Whiskey said; “We are thrilled that our whiskeys continue to be recognised as some of the best in the world. This week four years ago we bottled our first batch of Teeling whiskey and since then we have managed to rack up over 100 International Awards for our whiskeys.

Teeling Single Malt, Teeling The Revival Vol II Single Malt, Teeling 24-year-old Single Malt, and Teeling Single Grain were each singled out by the judging panel for their signature tastes and recognised as among the finest whiskies in the world.

Teeling added: “It is very rewarding to be recognised by both our domestic and international counterparts, which allows us to continue to lead the renaissance for independent Irish whiskey producers. This year looks set to be another exciting year for us as we continue to release new expressions of Teeling whiskey to cater for the growing interest in new and unique Irish whiskeys”.
