Kimberly-Clark, the producer of Huggies and Kleenex, has net sales of $4.6 billion during its third quarter, representing a 1% increase year on year. In North America, organic sales on consumer products rose by nearly 1%. Elsewhere, organic sales in developing and emerging markets were up by 3%, however, they fell by 3% in developed markets.

Coca-Cola North America has appointed Jim Dinkins as its new president. Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) has announced that J. Alexander Douglas Jr. is set to retire as president, and will leave the company in March 2018.

A new survey carried out by popular drinks brand Fanta highlights that 45% of people think Donald Trump will yet again be the most popular Halloween costume choice in Ireland this year.

The Dingle Distillery has won two awards at the Irish Whiskey Awards (Thursday 19 October). ‘Best Irish Gin’ was won by Dingle Original Gin and ‘Best Irish Vodka’ by Dingle Distillery Vodka.  The awards were accepted by Elliot Hughes of The Dingle Distillery which distills the winning spirits.
