April Adams-Redmond has left her position as Chief Marketing Officer, Kerry Foods, to accept the role of Global Brand Vice President with Unilever. Adams-Redmond had been with Kerry Foods for six years, and has previously worked for Coca-Cola and Diageo.

Tindal Wine Merchants has announced the date for its annual Portfolio Tasting. The tasting will take place on 6 February in the Marker Hotel, Dublin, and will bring together over 35 wine producers and more than 120 wines, as well as a selection of vodkas and gins.

The Irish Business Against Litter (IBAL) group held its cleanest towns award, naming Kildare Town as the best in the country. Roscommon Town and Ahbourne, Co Meath came second and third. IBAL warned that litter levels were on the rise, with Dublin and Limerick singled out by spokesperson Conor Horgan as suffering a 'disappointing deterioration'.

A poll conducted by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce found that half of all employee concerns related to housing and accommodation. The poll surveyed 298 companies in December to find what issues workers felt were most pressing. Second to housing were worries of high taxation, with a quarter of workers worried about that issue.
