A lawsuit taken out against Musgrave by retailers in Carlow has been withdrawn. Carlow Shopping Centre was suing Musgrave after incurring losses after SuperValu announced it was leaving prior to Christmas, according to the businesspost.ie. It argued that Musgrave was required to keep the premises opened according to its contract and sought out an injunction to have the courts make the company uphold its commitment.

Aldi's plans to bring its supermarket to Dunshaughlin has hit a roadblock after Bord Pleanala sent out an appeal last month. The board will rule on this appeal this coming 1 November, setting back the possibility of developing of a new Aldi store, according to meathchronicle.ie.

Liam O Connor has been appointed as Business Development Manager, at Viessmann Refrigeration Systems' new office in Dublin. In addition, Viessmann is currently in the process of a finalising a distributer network that can support its target consumer base and give customers round-the-clock cover in service and maintenance.

Glastry Farm linked up with S.D. Bell, a leading coffee and tea business, to develop a Cappuccino ice cream for foodservice customers in both Northern Ireland the Republic of Ireland. Glastry has also partnered with Bramblebery Jams of Lisburn to create a new Chocolate and Salted Caramel ice cream. The new ice creams are now available in five-litre tubs in hotels, high-end restaurant and cafes supplied by Glastry.

DoneDeal.ie has raised €37,370, for Educate Together, Dublin Simon Community and Fighting Blindness. Educate Together will use the money for the work involved in establishing North Wicklow Educate Together Secondary School, which is anticipated to open in Bray this August.
