Aldi Reveals The Top 20 Items Irish Customers’ Are Buying Right Now

Aldi Ireland has released a list of its top-twenty selling grocery products over the last three-week period since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The top-seller during the period 16 March – 05 April was 2 litres of Fresh Irish Milk, with Pure Irish Creamery Butter and a 1kg bag of Irish Carrots taking second and third place, the discounter said.

Of the retailer’s top-selling items, the Irish supply base supplies almost 80% of the top-20 products, it added.

Five Irish dairy products were in the top 20 list, which is good news for Irish suppliers and Irish farmers also.

Common food items such as dairy, fruit, vegetables and cupboard staples complete the top-20.
