Bord Bia will hold its seminar on the foodservice industry and the yoghurt market next Wednesday, 4 November in the Aviva Stadium.
The event marks the publication of Bord Bia’s ‘Deep Dive’ into the food-to-go market with the 2015 Quick Service & Food-to-Go Insights Report, as well as the 2015 Irish Foodservice Market Directory.
From 8:30am until lunchtime, after Bord Bia’s Food Service Specialist Maureen Gahan takes attendees through the key findings of the report, speakers from across the foodservice industry will be discussing various aspects of the sector.
Martin Ryan, Head of Business & Consumer Insights at McDonald’s Restaurants Ireland will present ‘Staying Close to the Customer – How McDonald’s is adapting to meet Consumer Needs, and Declan Ralph, Retail Development Director, BWG Foods will talk about ‘How Food-to-Go is driving the Convenience Retail Channel’.
Also speaking at the event will be Claire Cogan, Head of Insights at Britvic and Retail Director for Greggs, Raymond Reynolds, amongst other with unique insights into the food service market.
Following the morning’s activities and lunch, Bord Bia will debrief food producers on its first category study into the yoghurt market, which was done with the aim of both understanding the consumer and providing inspiration for the new ideas needed to drive growth.
