Boutique Bake Expands Into 47 Tesco Outlets Across Dublin And Wicklow

Tesco has announced that Irish supplier Boutique Bake will be expanding into even more Tesco stores, following its participation in the Tesco Taste Bud programme earlier this year.

Initially rolled out to 11 Tesco outlets, the Boutique Bake range will now be available in 47 Tesco stores across Dublin and Wicklow.

Founded by Catherine Buggy in 2013, Boutique Bake aims to fill the gap in the market for baking mixes without artificial flavours, additives or preservative.

Its award-winning baking mixes include, ‘The Zingy One’, a lemon drizzle cake mix; ‘The Rustic One’, a seeded brown bread mix; ‘The Cheeky One’, a carrot cake mix; ‘The Gooey One’, a Belgian chocolate brownie mix, and ‘The Chewy One’, its super seed flapjack mix.

Commenting about the announcement, Buggy explained, “Our range appeals to those who are short on time but who still want to bake something that tastes homemade and does not contain anything artificial.”

She added that, “It’s also popular with families looking for a fun activity with children as there is no weighing involved so everyone can get baking with no hassle.”

Boutique Bake is one of a number of Taste Bud suppliers serving up treats in the Tesco tent this week at the 2015 National Ploughing Championships.

The luxury baking range is now available in 47 Tesco stores in Dublin and Wicklow, at €2.99 for the bread mix and €3.99 for the sweet range of mixes.
