BWG Foodservice has again been shortlisted for a number of awards in the Irish Quality Food Awards (IQFA), which will take place on Thursday, October 24 at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin.
Now in its fifth year, IQFA recognises and celebrates the 'best in retail, wholesale and foodservice food and drink products available on the island of Ireland'.
The Q logo is a recognisable trademark representing the best in quality food and drink. The robust and transparent judging process is independently driven, which ensures confidence that your products are judged by experts in the field.
Ricky O’Brien, Head of BWG Foodservice said: “The Q logo is a recognisable trademark representing the best in quality food and drink."
The Irish wholesale and retail group has been nominated for three products across three different categories.
Its nominations include: Vegetarian/Vegan category - BWG Foodservice Coconut & Lentil Falafel; Beef Steaks category - BWG Foodservice 28 Day Dry Aged Tomohawk Steak By Heaney Meats and finally the Quiches, Pies and Pasties category - BWG Foodservice Sweet Mustard Premium Sausage Roll.
"We are proud to work with the most reputable of suppliers who are very passionate about producing high quality produce, as evidenced by this very strong representation in the final shortlist of award nominees.” O'Brien added.
Established in 2001, BWG Foodservice supplies 'everything needed to run a foodservice business', from gourmet food, chilled food, frozen food and ambient to alcohol and non-food products like catering supplies and catering disposables.
All are delivered via multi-temperature storage and transportation facilities, ensuring food arrives in premium condition, the group explained.
