Centra has announced a deal with Bewley's to supply Centra’s Full Roast 100% Fairtrade certified coffee, which will see around 25,000 cups of Fairtrade coffee sold in Centra outlets every day.
The deal, which is worth €3.5 million, is a renewal of Centra’s ongoing relationship with Bewley’s. Approximately 10 million cups of Fairtrade coffee will be sold in Centra outlets nationwide this year.
“This substantial contract with Bewley’s, a renowned Irish business, is not only beneficial to the Irish economy but also benefits Fairtrade coffee producers," said Martin Kelleher, Managing Director, Centra.
"We know that the coffee we’re serving comes through sustainable and responsible channels direct from Fairtrade certified sources. Our customers like the delicious taste and quality of our coffees and this is all the more encouraging knowing that every coffee our customers enjoy is supporting Fairtrade and coffee producing communities.”
