The 2014 Checkout Best In Fresh Awards take place today at the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin, commemorating excellence in fresh produce retailing.
There are a total of 22 award categories to be presented this year's Awards, which are open to all retail groups and independent retailers, including multiples, symbols, discounters and non-affiliated stores.
A special Lifetime Achievement award for services to fresh produce will also be presented to John Moloney, former Managing Director of Glanbia plc, at today's event.
