Clare Hurlers Celebrate New Gala Opening In Ennis

Two members of the All-Ireland Hurling Championship winning Clare team, Tony Kelly and Colm Galvin were on hand to open a new Gala outlet in Cloughleigh, Ennis.

The store is owned by Laurence and Susan O’Brien, who commemorated the event with a community barbecue, while Tony and Colm also brought the Liam McCarthy Cup along, which proved a great draw on the day.

The store has been completely refurbished and fitted out to the highest standard, with the new fitout being undertaken in a very quick timeframe: the store was closed for just one day.

The store is now fitted out with an array of new services, which include a state of the art hot deli counter and chilled food offering, and has also introduced the Bakers Corner range of homemade freshly baked produce.

This event was part of Gala’s fundraising initiative with the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation, an extension of the retailers CSR campaign to date with the charity.
