Dairygold Opens New Co-Op Superstores At New Inn

Dairygold has announced the opening of a new Co-Op Superstore at New Inn, Tipperary.

Co-Op SuperStores is the retail division of Dairygold Co-Operative Society, which operates 35 stores across the Munster region.

The move is part of a wider €11.5 million investment by the dairy group to enhance its retail store network.

The new store is a more modern shopping experience, according to the group, with a significantly expanded range of goods. It also has a new agri-hub for meetings and technical farm support, along with its expanded grain centre.

Exciting New Chapter

“The new Co-Op Superstores at New Inn marks an exciting new chapter for our business,” New Inn Co-Op Superstores Manager, John Sugrue said.

“We want to thank our loyal customers for their patience during the works and we look forward to serving them and others across the wider north Munster region into the future.”

John O’ Carroll, Head of Retail at Dairygold, said the new store’s opening is a milestone event for the group’s retail store network, as it plans for further investment over the next 12 months.

The company’s chairman, John O’Gorman, said that he is pleased to see the investment come in and to be able to open the new superstore.

“Through this investment, Dairygold has made a firm commitment to the future importance of New Inn as a centre of the Society’s Agri-Business,” O’Gorman said.

“The overall investment in New Inn has created a state-of-the-art agri-business hub that will be central to servicing the needs of our Members and customers across the north Munster region for many years to come,” he added.
