Did you know ...? Uber Technologies has entered into a partnership with Michigan-headquartered grocery retailer Meijer to offer on-demand, scheduled grocery delivery service to customers across the Midwest. The partnership will also help Uber Eats expand its offering of groceries for consumers across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. Nearly 250 Meijer locations will be added to Uber and Uber Eats, beginning this week and continuing through the winter.

Did you know ...? Swiss conglomerate Nestlé and dairy cooperative Fonterra have signed an agreement to sell their joint venture in Brazil, Dairy Partners Americas (DPA), to French dairy company Lactalis for R$700 million (€125.4 million), reports ESMmagazine.com. The deal is expected to close by mid-2023 and is subject to approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade).

Did you know ...? Inflation in the Netherlands is set to remain at a relatively high level – around 5% –in the next two years, as soaring energy costs feed into the prices of other goods and services, the Dutch central bank (DNB) announced on Monday. Inflation in the Eurozone’s fifth-largest economy is expected to drop to 4.9% in 2023, after jumping to 11.5% this year, as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine caused a global energy crisis, reports Reuters, but inflation is likely to remain at 5% in 2024, the central bank noted, as surging energy bills lift prices across the board and the tight labour market continues to drive up wages.
