The funniest kids will get the chance to put their jokes to the test in front of Johnny Sexton, to see how much they can make him smile. Entry is via Mace.ie and by scanning QR codes on posters in MACE stores around the country. Five ‘funny’ winners will get to meet Johnny and tell him their jokes in person.
Did you know ...? Slovenian retailer Mercator has repackaged some of its popular children’s products to incorporate plain and more sustainable packaging, reports ESMmagazine.com. The aim of the initiative is to encourage children’s creativity, in addition to creating value through business cooperation. The white-packaging project is being conducted in partnership with suppliers Atlantic Grupa, Medex, Fructal and Bambi.
Did you know ...? Italian modern retail distribution group Gruppo VéGé has rolled out a video-streaming sommelier service in its stores. The service is the result of a partnership with Smart Sommelier, an in-store video-streaming service that serves as a purchasing guide for beverage products in physical shops and e-commerce. Gruppo VéGé’s customers can now connect, via video call, with a certified professional sommelier to receive the best advice on buying wines, beers and spirits, including matching wines with dishes and providing descriptions of particular labels.
