Dunnes Set To Open New Store In Dundrum Town Centre In October

Hammerson has announced Dunnes is set to open a new store at Dundrum Town Centre in October 2023.

In a statement, the British property development and investment company noted that Dunnes Stores has taken a prime location at the centre and the new 55,000 sq ft store will offer an extensive homewares range, alongside children’s, men’s, and women’s fashion.

New Signings 

The Dundrum Town Centre owner also announced the opening of Superdrug which will will transform a former 8,000 sq ft fashion unit into a new cosmetics store on 28 July.

Superdrug will be located next to the newly upsized Penneys, and the brand will 'further strengthen the health and beauty offering and diversify the retail offer'.

Hammerson noted that a Western Union is set to open at the shopping centre imminently.

This new 11,700 sq ft work and collaboration space repurposes a former retail storage into a best-in-class penthouse office in a first of its kind at Dundrum, it added.

'Major Reconfiguration And Repositioning'

According to Hammerson the three new signings form part of a major reconfiguration and repositioning of Dundrum Town Centre, which has seen new and highly sought after contemporary brands replace legacy brands, whilst floor-plates were reimagined to create modern and attractive trading space for occupiers.
