Finalists Announced In The SFA National Small Business Awards 2015

The finalists in the Small Firms Association (SFA) National Small Business Awards have been officially announced by AJ Noonan, SFA Chairman and Chair of the Awards Judging Panel. The awards recognise the achievements an contributions of small businesses to the Irish economy.

33 companies have been selected as finalists across seven categories. The awards will also recognise five of the best Emerging New Businesses; companies that are less than two years old.

Patron of the Awards, An Taoiseach Enda Kenny stated, "I am delighted to support the SFA awards as small firms are at the forefront of the economic recovery. Only by supporting our small firms will our plan to get the domestic economy back on track succeed.

“The Awards provide an opportunity to highlight the success of our small firms as they seek out new markets and innovations. Staying competitive is essential for growth and recovery and the Government will continue to do everything we can with our Action Plan for Jobs to support small firms across Ireland."

The seven categories cover Manufacturing, Food & Drink, Services, Outstanding Small Business, Innovator of the Year, Energy & Environmental Sustainability and Small Business Exporter.
