Bord Bia has announced that Michael Hussey has been appointed Manager of the Middle East Region. He will be based in Bord Bia's newest office in Dubai.
The recently-opened office aims to support the Irish food and drink industry’s efforts to double exports to the Middle East by 2020.
Michael previously worked in sales and marketing in the private sector, before joining Bord Bia in 2001.
Most recently he held the position of Senior Sector Manager, responsible for the dairy and ingredients sector, which involved trade research in Middle East, Africa and Asia.
