Iceland Ireland has announced that between the hours of 8-9am its stores will be dedicated to its over 65’s customers from this Wednesday 18 March onwards, due to Tuesday being a bank holiday.
"At Iceland Ireland, we would like to reassure all of our customers that we will continue to operate as normally as possible over the coming days and weeks while following guidelines from the government," the retailer said.
"We would ask our other customers where possible to respect this hour and help us give this time to this customer group to ensure that the most vulnerable in our society can shop in comfort and safety."
The discounter thanked it's "amazing in-store teams for their hard work and dedication."
"We will continue to be here to support our local communities throughout this challenging time," the company said.
