Iceland Reveals Two New Store Openings In Ireland Creating 55 New Jobs

Iceland's newest store in Dublin, at Northside Shopping Centre in Coolock, was officially opened on Tuesday July 12, making it the 12th store in Ireland, following the opening of Iceland in Tipperary, three weeks ago, in the Showgrounds Shopping Centre, Clonmel.

55 jobs have been created as a result, increasing the number of staff in Iceland Ireland to 250 throughout its stores.

Iceland's initiative, #PowerofFrozen continues to move forward and will promote the irrefutable message of the benefits of frozen food, while also debuting an array of fresh groceries and staple products to its cutovers that are healthy, tasty, safe, of high quality and retailed at great prices.

Ron Metcalfe, Managing Director of Iceland Ireland commented: "We’re delighted to announce the additions of our new Dublin and Tipperary stores and look forward to bringing great value and a brand you can trust to even more customers in Coolock, as well as Clonmel, across our fresh groceries and frozen products.

"Iceland has been warmly welcomed by locals in both areas, and I would like to officially welcome all of the new staff across both stores who have joined the Iceland team and will help us deliver the power of frozen to Irish customers."
