Ireland's Oishii Sushi Invests €1m In New Facility, Creates 10 New Jobs

Oishii Sushi has made a significant investment of €1 million in a new 4,000 square foot, state-of-the-art production facility, creating 10 new jobs.

The Dublin-based business, whose products are currently stocked in many of Ireland’s major retail outlets, will expand operations and increase its output at a dedicated site in Bluebell, Dublin 12.

Oishii Sushi believes that the new facility will enable the business to more than double its production and meet its forecasted growth levels of 50% per annum over the next three years.

'Wonderful Milestone'

Speaking about the continued growth of the company, Ciara Troy, founder and managing director, Oishii Sushi, said that this is a wonderful milestone for the Oishii business and team.

"This facility sees the culmination of years of hard work and hopes come to fruition," she added.

"The specification and the future proofing which we have built into this new space will give us all the tools to allow us to focus on more new product development and business expansion."

Sales Increase

Oishii Sushi has reported two years of growth, with sales increasing by 130%.

Due to the company's growth surge, Oishii’s workforce has grown from a staff of 20 to 40.

In the past 18 months, the business has added more retail outlets to its distribution channels, which generated new customers, not only nationwide in Republic of Ireland, but also across the border in Northern Ireland.
