Lidl has announced the opening of three new stores in Galway, Cork, and Donegal later this month. The stores will open on 27 February, and will bring Lidl’s store count to 140 across Ireland, and its employee numbers above 3,400.
All three will host opening day activities such as competitions and special offers, including the ‘Lidl Wheel of Fortune’, which will give customers the opportunity to win shopping vouchers worth €50.
“The excitement is building as we prepare to open our three new stores in Galway, Cork and Donegal,” said Aoife Clarke, Lidl’s head of communications. “These new openings bring to 140 the number of Lidl stores in Ireland and reinforces our ongoing commitment to offering customers across Ireland top quality products at market-leading prices every day.”
Lidl said that the new store openings will create fifty jobs.
