Lidl has announced it will open new stores in Galway, Cork and Donegal this month.
The stores are located in Doughiska, Cork City Centre and Letterkenny, and will open on Thursday 27th February. The company have recruited more than 50 staff from the surrounding areas to work at the stores.
The three new additions will bring the number of Lidl stores in Ireland to 140 and increase its total number of employees to over 3,400.
Aoife Clarke, Head of Communications at Lidl Ireland, said that the new openings reinforce Lidl’s "ongoing commitment to offering customers across Ireland top quality products at market-leading prices every day."
She added, "With daily freshly baked breads and pastries and a wide variety of food and non-food items, there is something for everyone. We look forward to welcoming our new customers in store."
