Londis has revealed a new-look private label range of products, which the retailer says will bring 'greater coherence and consistency' to its range.
The range, of around 200 products, has just gone on sale in Londis retailers nationwide, and is sourced from 18 local Irish manufacturers.
“The launch of our new look private label range is a significant milestone for the Group and our retailers," said Londis Chief Executive, Stephen O’Riordan.
"The Londis private label range gives consumers a large range of trusted daily essentials and with our new designs, consumers can quickly and efficiently recognise Londis private label products helping them to stretch their budgets to enjoy even more value for money.”
In a statement, Londis said that its own-brand range has grown considerably in recent years, 'as the Group exploits the benefits of its nationwide centralised ambient and chill distribution facilities'.
It added, 'This investment by Londis in its own-brand packaging identity ensures that Londis retailers are bringing a strong, cohesive range of own-brand product to Irish consumers. This is particularly important at a time when the prevalence of good quality, core own-brand products as key components of consumers shopping baskets continues to grow'.
