Global shopper marketing firm, Engage Consultants has launched in Ireland, in conjunction with Visualise and i4P Consulting.
The Engage ‘Total Marketing’ concept advocates that integrating consumer, shopper and customer marketing into one process is crucial for consumer brands looking to optimise marketing investment and achieve long-term growth.
Mike Anthony and Toby Desforges, co-authors of The Shopper Marketing Revolution, founded Engage Consultants a decade ago. The company currently has offices across Asia, as well as in South Africa, with further expansion into Europe planned for later this year.
Stephen Rust has been appointed as CEO and will also be a shareholder of Engage Consultants in Ireland. He has over 15 years marketing experience, and founded i4P Consulting in 2013. Last year, he won ‘Marketing Consultant of the Year’ at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Excellence Awards.
Rust commented that changes in shopper behaviour and Ireland’s market environment are creating significant investment challenges for companies.
“The danger is that more money, time and effort are being spent by Irish companies without necessarily achieving the required returns. Engage offers a total marketing approach, which drives growth and better returns on marketing investment through focusing on what will connect with target shoppers,” he added.
