Maxol Awards Retailers' Hard Work At Conference

A number of Maxol’s licensees were awarded for their hard work at the brand’s 2016 Retailer Conference, which took place at Carton House, Co. Kildare.

As part of the celebrations, the company’s incoming CEO, Brian Donaldson presented the Maxol TLC Awards for 2015 to 13 winners from across Ireland for seven different categories.

Maxol's TLC Retail Awards recognise licensees' efforts in maintaining standards of excellence in customer service and retail.

The conference also saw Raj Singh, licensee of Beach Road and Baldoyle Service Stations, Dublin, and his business partner Arun Kumar, awarded a prize of €4,000 as part of the 'Pitch for Success' initiative.

The Dragons-Den-Like scheme gave Maxol retailers the opportunity to pitch creative ideas, with three teams making it to the final on the day.

Singh and Kumar secured their prize by presenting a fresh food concept as an extension of Maxol’s food brand ‘Moreish’, that involved serving high quality hot food with an Indian theme.

Maxol and the Dublin-based business partners will now collaborate on this project to bring it to the market.
