Maxol Bantry Partners With Search And Rescue Association

Maxol on The Pier Bantry has pledged its support to the local Bantry Inshore Search and Rescue Association (BISRA).

In support of the lifeboat fleet, Robin McMullan, Licensee of Maxol Bantry, presented a cash donation and discounted Maxol Fuelcard to Martin O’Mahoney, BISRA Treasurer. BISRA is a voluntary group, which provides an emergency lifeboat service to the Bantra Bay community.

Speaking at the launch of the partnership, O’Mahoney said, “We are delighted with this support from Robin McMullan and Maxol Bantry. It is encouraging to see local business getting behind us and helping us focus on our work and worry a little less about finances.”

McMullan added: “My business looks out across the pier and I see and appreciate the hugely important role the voluntary member of BISRA play in our community. I am very pleased to play my part in helping to reduce the costs of running the association.”
