Maxol To Hold ‘Food Lovers Celebration’ To Launch Longmile Road Station

Forecourt and convenience retailer Maxol is holding a ‘Food Lovers Celebration’ for its customers to mark the official launch of Maxol Longmile Road on Tuesday, 14 February from 11am until 3pm.

Maxol customers will be able to enjoy samplings and free lunches from Maxol’s own food brand ‘Moreish’ and other treats from the site’s new food franchises, Insomnia and Chopped. This is the second Chopped offering to open within the Maxol Group, following the introduction of the healthy food brand to Maxol M3 Mulhuddart Services last summer.

Other activities in store will keep customers entertained, with Spin 103.8’s spinnies dropping by with loads of goodies to give away and DJ Ray Shah playing the latest tunes onsite.

Maxol Longmile Road is part of the company’s expansion in the Greater Dublin area which also includes Maxol N7 Kill and Maxol Greenhills Road. Maxol was cleared by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) for the acquisition of these three service stations last year, all of which were previously owned by Esso.

Thomas Ennis, Maxol licensee at Maxol Longmile Road commented: “I am delighted to be working with Maxol at its latest development and offer at Longmile Road. The transformation is great to see and we now offer our customers pay-at-pump convenience services, a top-quality range of food solutions for all times of the day with a focus on fresh and healthy offerings. I now have a team of 32 fully trained and dedicated staff who are looking forward to the journey ahead and of course meeting our existing and new customers next week. We hope they enjoy a few hours of fun, prizes and special offers.”
