The Maxol Group has presented a cheque for €60,000 to the Simon Communities of Ireland at Maxol’s Mespil Road service station in Dublin, marking the end of a partnership initially announced in 2011.
As part of the agreement, a percentage of every Maxol carwash sale during ‘Suds for Simon’ carwash campaigns was donated to Simon, and collection boxes were placed in over 160 Maxol service stations.
Fergal Harrington, Maxol Group Brand Development Manager, said on behalf of Maxol, “We are very grateful for the support of our retailers, their staff and in particular our customers whose generosity has helped raise this money, which goes directly to support tackling homelessness in the North and South.”
