Maxol's Chief Executive, Brian Donaldson has announced that Maxol will be teaming up with the mental healthy charity, Aware. Joining him for the announcement, which was made on Tuesday June 28, was CEO of Aware, Dominic Layden and Dublin footballer, Bernard Brogan.

Together, Maxol and Aware plan on promoting positive mental health across Ireland's communities and supporting the services provided by Aware throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

They will also support and spread awareness of youth mental health through the school programme, 'Aware's Beat the Blues', designed for teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18.

Maxol will have Aware collection boxes in its stores and will take part in the initiative, 'Mood Walks', which encourages people to come together while keeping active and sustaining positive mental health. The dates for the Mood Walk will be released shortly.

Brian Donaldson, Chief Executive of Maxol, commented; "We’re very proud to partner with Aware, who do such important and admirable work across the country. Our retailers and all of our staff are very supportive of this partnership as I’m sure our customers will be.
