Quinlan’s ‘Nets’ Kerry Business Of The Year Award

Quinlan’s Fish has won Radio Kerry’s Business of the Year award, presented at a Gala Black Tie Ceremony last month in Ballygarry House Hotel, Tralee. The Caherciveen-based company also won the overall award in the food category.

Director Liam Quinlan said, “To receive two gongs on one night is absolutely fantastic. We are surprised, overwhelmed and delighted of course [...] we are looking forward to a busy 2014.”

The family-run business, started by Michael Quinlan in 1960, has developed a strong brand and excellent reputation for its seafood. Recently the enterprise was handed down to Quinlan’s three sons Liam, Ronan and Fintan who plan to expand to parts of Ireland outside Kerry where it has shops in Tralee, Killarney, Killorglin and Caherciveen.
