Topaz has been announced as one of Ireland’s ‘Best Managed’ companies for the fifth consecutive year by the Deloitte-Best Managed Companies Awards Programme.
The fuel and convenience retailer picked up the award for demonstrating superior business performance at a gala event in Dublin, attended by over 800 people.
Paul Candon, Marketing and Corporate Services Director at Topaz commented on the win, “At Topaz we have a very strong culture of constant improvement and innovation. Our involvement in the programme has helped us refine our policies in this key area and to maintain our focus on surpassing our customers’ expectations.”
He added, “Consumer confidence is recovering and as a young fully Irish owned company we have ambitious expansion plans for the future. We have a clear strategy which we believe will maximise our company’s potential and deliver continuing growth and success.”
The keynote address at the award, which is run in association with Barclays Bank Ireland, was given by Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton. The programme recognises Irish companies that operate at the highest levels of business performance.
