Topaz 'Play Or Park' loyalty game has been voted the top loyalty programme in the fuel sector, according to the Loyalty Performance Index (LPI), developed by Amárach Research and Chilli Pepper Marketing.
The LPI is the first ever independent report on loyalty programmes in Ireland, and Topaz took top spot in the 'fuel' category. Other retailers acknowledged included Tesco, Boots and Brown Thomas.
“We’re delighted with these findings and indeed with the ongoing success of Play or Park," said Paul Candon, Marketing and Corporate Services Director at Topaz. "We wanted to reward our loyal customers and they told us they wanted something that was different, something that was interactive and a bit of fun. That’s what Play or Park is.
"The response has been excellent and already over 250,000 customers have signed up. Play or Park players get the chance to win amazing prizes every month as well as regular treats while Topaz builds brand loyalty in an easy and fun way at the point of sale or on social media."
The study found that 64% of Play or Park members pro-actively participate in the programme and actively redeem their awards at Topaz stations.
